As we learn more about food and nutrition, it is very important that we look at the food that we eat every day.

For math we are learning about estimating when your in the real world for example:99+62= then you estimate to find the answer and some times we talk about money and the bujet project is really hard for me. for reading we talk alot about whales and we have a sheet that has two questions and four reasorses .for sience we are talking about the food pyrimid and al the types of foods that you should eat and how much you should eat every day. and I like mrs.bohnams idea of doing our own readers theater its really fun. bloger:Jefferson

About the class

Hello, I'm Priscilla.In Mrs Bonham's class sometimes in the morning we do cursive. Also in the morning we do morning meeting someone picks the greeting,someone does the fact and someone is also the author of the day. Today in math we did problem solving. In social studies we are doing a Native American project some people are doing Cherokee,Tuscarora and Catawba. As a class we are reading How to Steal a Dog. In reading we are learning how to predict with using only nonfiction text. We do independent reading after recess. In science we are doing food nurtion. I think that food nurtion is good to learn about. In class we are tring to earn drops so that we can earn prizes the prizes become bigger.

What Were Doing In School

What were doing in shcool is fun projects sience math and a lots stuff.We are started on cursuf hand writting and also we do reading fluince cards there is lots of things you can do in school.We started Soical Studies about a month ago talking about the Piedmont Mountains and the Coastal Plain and we had started a project on it already!In school you learn everything in school you will have p.e computer seince c.e library and library you can check out books seince you will learn about crystals gemstones and lots of cool thihngs.P.E you will just do fun things and run around and do stations and do hulahoops and jumpropes!In class we do reading senters and math senters in reading senters at the back table there CQ books when you are reading CQ books there are long paraghs that you half to read and get a note book and write about what you learned in the CQ book.and also Mrs.Bonham will pick you for reading and math senters and also in reading you go on the computers for study island reading only.We do morning meeting and Mrs.Bonham will pick any number like 1,2,3, and then she will pick a any like 23 and you can bring 1 cool thing from home!

One feild day we got to help k-2 for feild we also ate cookies. next we might do our feild day.Inschool we have our spelling test,math,andreading. every mornig we do mornig meeting,check home work,math.today we have a party bacause every time we pass our test avrige we have something specil. last week we did our math and reading our avirge were 87 for math 82 for reading.When we took our scine test have of our class din"t pass the test we have to take it over af ter that she gave our scores everybody pass the test we din't have no party. tract4 tract out for three weeks
